Volunteer Action
The Volunteer action project is focused on improving Landcare goups and networks ability to recruit and retain members and volunteers. It involves training and small grants initatives to achieve this.
Volunteer Action Training
A series of training sessions, held throughout Victoria in October 2009 and March 2010, as part of the Department of Sustainability and Environment’s Landcare Volunteer Recruitment Initiative explored ways to motivate, encourage and recruit Landcare members and volunteers.
Volunteer Action Small Grants 2010
To encourage volunteering and increase membership across the State, the Volunteer Recruitment Initiative offered Landcare groups and networks an opportunity to apply for small grants of $1000 - $5000. This was a chance to get creative to recruit new volunteers or members into Landcare.
