The Volunteer action project is focused on improving Landcare goups and networks ability to recruit and retain members and volunteers. It involves training and small grants initatives to achieve this.
Volunteer Action Training
Looking for ways to motivate, encourage and recruit Landcare volunteers? Then training sessions run by The Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) can help. The sessions, being held throughout Victoria in March, are part of DSE’s Landcare Volunteer Recruitment Initiative (VRI).
Volunteer Action Small Grants
To encourage volunteering and increase membership across the State, the Volunteer Recruitment Initiative is offering landcare groups and networks an opportunity to apply for small grants of $1000 - $5000. This is a chance to get creative and try get in some new volunteers or members.
