This two day course is a compulsory pre-requisite when applying for an Agricultural Chemical User Permit (ACUP), required for the use of S7 and some S6 chemicals. Topics covered include: Legislation and farm chemical use, pests and pest control, formulations and modes of action, reading the label, transport and storage, decanting and mixing chemicals, applying chemicals, equipment calibration, emergency procedures & first aid and clean-up and disposal.

Please note: day 2 includes an outdoor spray calibration exercise; please come suitably dressed. This course is also a pre-requisite before completing the 1080 pest animal bait user training.
