Navigating towards effective NRM partnerships
(‘Yana’ means ‘to speak’ in Wergaia language)
The Forum is designed to bring the Wimmera’s indigenous people and NRM authorities together to develop more effective agreements and partnerships. Part of this process involves having a clear understanding of each other roles and areas of responsibility, with the short term aim of developing mutually beneficial processes that are in line with legislative obligations and state-wide NRM policy.
