Welcome to the upgraded Victorian Landcare Gateway!
We hope you enjoy the new upgraded Landcare Gateway website!
This website has a new look, but has also had a significant change to the ease of use for managing group content.
Each group site now has the ability to add news and events as before, but now also there are specific tools for promoting volunteer activities and project information, and the ability to locate all group content on a map. This means that projects, events and volunteer activities can have a map showing the location.
We have also added a discussion forum for Gateway users to discuss topics of interest. To visit the forum, just use the Forum button at the top.
To find a group, use the search box at right, and search by postcode or location to find your nearest groups. Please note that we are still in the process of mapping all group locations.
If your group does not have any information on line, it is a simple process to start adding and editing group content. See the link below. The user guide is currently being updated to reflect the new site tools, and will be published when ready.
If your group has information online, you should be aware of a change to the web address of groups. Every group now has a simpler address, ie region.landcarevic.net.au/groupname. The old site had much longer addresses, which has been simplified.
Take a look, join a discussion, or find a volunteer activity to attend. Make the most of the new Victorian Landcare Gateway.
