Revegetation Assistance Offer
The Tasmanian Understorey Network is offering to propagate and supply native plants for fire affected groups.
The Tasmanian community organisation called the Understorey Network grows native plants for landholders.
The group has many volunteer growers who have offered to grow native plants for Victorian community groups suffering from the effects of the recent bushfires.
The Network Coordinator will purchase local seed from Victorian seedbanks, with transport provided by grey nomads heading north.
The plants will be tubestock, ready to put in May-July 2010.
If your group, or landholders are interested in this offer, please contact Ruth Mollison ASAP so she can organise seeds in time for germination to commence.
