Do you know how your personal information and Group contact information is kept safe on the Gateway? Privacy is a priority for the Gateway, so email contacts are hidden.
Many Landcare group and network representatives are hesitant about having their contact details listed on their group or network sites on the Landcare Gateway, due to concerns about spam and privacy.
However, many people wish to contact their local group, but find that there is no contact listed online, making it difficult for potential members to join.
The Landcare Gateway has a system in place to keep Landcare contact email addresses hidden from spammers, but allow people to contact them. This applies to Group or Network home pages, Events and Volunteer Activities.
